At Tara’s Toddler Time, our mission is to provide high-quality, relationship-based early childhood care that nurtures the whole child through small-group, play-based learning, while building strong socio-emotional foundations and partnering with families to support confident, capable learners both in school and in life.

ABOUT TARA

Tara is the owner and educator behind Tara’s Toddler Time, combining academic expertise with real-world experience in early childhood education. She holds a bachelor’s in Developmental Psychology and Community Development, an MBA in Value-Driven Organizations, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Leadership. As a mom of four with a 15-year age gap, Tara brings a unique and well-rounded parenting perspective. Outside of work and school, her family life is full and active at track meets, gymnastics, and coding activities.

Tara has been a licensed childcare provider since 2009, with over 1,000 hours of training, including 100+ hours in safety, and is CPR/First Aid certified. She has training in safe sleep and completed Pyramid Model training, reinforcing her focus on strong social-emotional and relationship-based care.

In addition to operating her program, Tara brings expertise in early childhood policy, funding, and development, helping bridge the gap between quality care and accessibility. She’s consulted with centers and providers nationwide to improve policies, funding, and sustainable models. Tara values strong family relationships and takes pride in creating a community where children and parents feel supported.
