At Tara’s Toddler Time, our mission is to provide high-quality, relationship-based early childhood care that nurtures the whole child through small-group, play-based learning. We focus on building strong socio-emotional foundations while partnering with families to support confident, capable learners both in school and in life.
ABOUT TARA
Tara is the owner and educator behind Tara’s Toddler Time, combining her academic expertise in developmental psychology with real-world experience in early childhood education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Developmental Psychology and Community Development, an MBA in Value-Driven Organizations, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Leadership. As a mom of four with a 15-year age gap, Tara brings a unique and well-rounded parenting perspective. Outside of work and school, her family life is full and active, participating in track meets, gymnastics, and coding activities.
Tara has been a licensed childcare provider since 2009, accumulating over 1,000 hours of training, including more than 100 hours focused on safety, and she is CPR/First Aid certified. Her training in safe sleep and completion of Pyramid Model training reinforce her commitment to strong social-emotional development within the framework of relationship-based early childhood care.
In addition to operating her program, Tara brings valuable expertise in early childhood policy, funding, and development, helping bridge the gap between quality care and accessibility. She has consulted with centers and providers nationwide to enhance policies, funding, and sustainable models. Tara values strong family relationships and takes pride in creating a community where children and parents feel supported.
